The common and old-fashioned solution to this problem would be the removal of the old ceramic tiles, placement of a new waterproofing membrane followed with the placement of the new tiles. The solution means that the house would be turned into a construction yard and also the costs would be high.
Leaking balconies are easy to detect as they start to form efflorescence and calcite within the grout lines. This is a common building defect. It is a clear indication that the waterproofing has failed. Porous tiles and grout, cracked and loose tiles are a few of the reasons balconies leak. We not only repair the leak, but we can also clean and rejuvenate the look of your balcony, as some are just old and in need of a makeover and reseal.

- Remove existing Silicone/Grout from perimeter joints of Balcony.
- Grind balcony floor joints where required.
- Seal perimeter junctions with Elite Anti Mould Hydrapro Epoxy Grout.
- Apply Elite Anti Mould Hydrapro Epoxy Grout. to floor joints.
- Seal external of floor waste with Elite Epoxy Grout.
- Seal external Window frames. (if applicable)
- Seal external door frames leading onto balcony.
